Les pirates se trouvent en compétition pendant 10 manches. À chacun d‘elles, les joueurs doivent indiquer le nombre de plis qu‘ils veulent réaliser au cours de la manche. Après quoi, il s‘agit de s‘approcher le plus près possible de ce résultat...Qui n‘y arrive pas, parce qu‘il fait trop ou pas assez de plis, perd à la fois gloire et prestige. Ne faire aucun pronostic peut s‘avérer lucratif, mais aussi très risqué...Alors que chacun ne dispose que d‘une seule carte pendant la première manche, une carte supplémentaire vient s‘y ajouter à chaque manche suivante. Au cours de chaque manche, les joueurs essaient d‘accumuler le plus de points possibles. Qui en a accumulé le plus à l‘issue des 10 manches, gagne.

Objective of the game

The pirates contest lasts 10 hands. In each hand the players have to bid the number of tricks they intend to win in that hand.  en the objective is to fulfill that bid Anyone who fails to fulfill their bid because they win too many or too few tricks loses glory and fame. It can be very lucrative to make a no-tricks bid. But it is also very risky During the  rst hand each player has only one card at their disposal; from hand to hand the number of cards increases by one. In each hand the players endeavour to achieve as many points as possible. Th e player who was able to collect the most points a er 10 hands is the winner.
